Wendy + Dennis

Wendy and Dennis’s wedding was on a beautiful day! I arrived to see red ribbons with yellow flowers hanging from the perfect tree at the Southside Park Club House. Wendy put a lot of thought and effort into everything at the wedding, and I LOVED the cakes they chose from Cakes by Gina. My favorite part of the day was the very beginning, when Wendy and Dennis chose to do a first look. I can’t say enough how important this is for couples who want to maximize their time for photos and time with their guests. After the ceremony was over, Wendy and Dennis went straight to the reception to await their introduction without having to make their guests wait for them to arrive! The timeline was perfect and everything went smoothly thanks to Audrey with Events By Audrey! Wendy and Dennis – hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Wendy and Dennis’s first date was to play Mario Kart, so that’s why they chose it as their wedding cake! How adorable is it?! I just love it! And the groom’s cake (the barbecue grill) is just as adorable.

Their cake topper was the perfect setting for their rings…

Double Happiness favor boxes also doubled as the place card holders…how cool is that?

Out of town!

Give Me Moore Workshop!

It’s almost 3 a.m and I’m still sitting in front of my computer in awe of what I learned at Kelly Moore’s “Give Me Moore” workshop last week! Kelly is such an inspiration to me (as well as others, I’m sure!) and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to attend her workshop in Louisiana! We also had a photoshoot in the afternoon so we could practice some new techniques. I can’t wait to see how this workshop will influence my creativity! Here are a few of my favorite shots from that day:
