Bonny + Audrey’s Senior Session!

I love these two!!! They are not only beautiful, but they are super sweet as well. I met Bonny when I was in college at UT…we took ballroom dance together. I loved seeing the bond they have as twin sisters. We went to Zilker Botanical Gardens for their session and the flowers were in full bloom! And thanks to the overcast day, the lighting was absolutely perfect. Thanks Bonny and Audrey…and congrats on your graduation!

Daphne, Deanna, Maggie, + Stephanie

When I think about my closest friends, I think of people I’ve known since high school or longer! Sometimes friendships go through seasons of ups and downs, but I know that Daphne, Deanna, Maggie, and Stephanie will be friends forever. These 4 wonderful girls are all high school seniors and have so much to look forward to! I got to know them at their session and asked them about their goals and dreams, and they’re all amazing! Who knows…maybe in a few years I’ll be photographing their weddings. I bet I can guess who their bridesmaids will be!

Today I finally took some time to look back on 2009 and realize how much God has truly blessed me. I could never have dreamed of the opportunities and wonderful people I’ve had the chance to meet and photograph. Who knew little me could do all of this? God knew and had a plan for me…and for that I am so thankful. I hope you don’t mind taking a trip down memory lane with me – I decided to make a few collages to share!

Julia is a high school senior from Austin & we had the most gorgeous day for her senior session! She’s such a natural in front of the camera, which made my job easy. We found some great spots…even an old school bus!

I love how the sunlight hits Julia’s gorgeous hair…these two might be my favorites from the whole session!

Kim

Kim is graduating from UT Austin (HOOK ‘EM! ) this weekend and we had the chance to do her senior session a couple weekends ago in Austin. If Kim looks familiar to you, it may be because you’ve seen her with me…she comes as my assistant sometimes at weddings. Sometimes people stop and ask us if we’re related but we aren’t…we’re just two little Asian women that have a passion for our jobs! I’m very fortunate to have found such a great friend and fellow photographer to help me out. I’m also very excited that Kim and I will both be going to the For The Love Workshop next February in Knoxville, TN! I can’t wait to meet all of the other photographers that will be attending. Stephanie is a super cute senior from the University of Texas! Yay! She’s graduating this May and probably has the best last semester schedule I’ve ever heard of. Luckily that meant we had plenty of time for this session! Originally I had planned to take Stephanie to this far away location I found a couple of months ago, but then I looked around some areas near my house and I found some great places (unexpectedly!). I love color that pops, and Stephanie’s winning smile looks great in every photo . Thanks Steph for modeling for me!

Did you really think I could pass up the opportunity to use a pink limo?

The wind definitely worked in our favor! I LOVE Stephanie’s hair in this photo!

Sophia and I were college roommates for a couple of years – I really enjoy hanging out with her! I love doing photoshoots with girls because it’s just so much fun! It’s an opportunity to dress up and be a model for a little bit – and maybe see a different side of yourself! Sophia picked out some really cute clothes…I love her pink ruffled dress! Anyway, here are a few of my favorites of Sophia!

Jaimee

Jaimee is my cousin from New Jersey – we got to see each other in Baltimore over the holidays at our family reunion! My mom’s side has a total of 24 people, so it’s not often that we’re all together at the same time! I love hanging out with Jaimee (we stayed up every night talking to each other) and I’m so glad I had the chance to take some photos of her at my uncle’s incredible house! I wish my backyard looked like this! Oh, and did I mention that it was FREEZING outside when we did this shoot? It was probably around 40 degrees, but I worked quickly so we wouldn’t have to be in the cold too long . Luckily, you can’t tell that Jaimee was cold at all from these photos – what a good sport!

Amanda and I have known each other forever since we grew up in the same church! I couldn’t tell you how many pictures we have together (there are a LOT!) but this was my first photoshoot with her as a professional photographer! Her favorite color is purple, so I made sure to include that in many of the photos. Amanda is graduating from UT this December! Congrats, girl! Hope you enjoy the photos!

I was really excited when Teri told me that she wanted me to do her senior portraits! We have been trying to schedule a session for awhile, but last week we actually did it! I think Teri is gorgeous and has the most incredible brown eyes! Teri, thanks for letting me take your photos and I hope they make you feel as pretty as you are!

Not only is Cindy drop dead gorgeous, but she has an AMAZING voice as well! Rosalie! I probably could have spent ALL day with her – she was great in front of the camera! She is a SUPER sweet girl and we got to enjoy a dinner at Trudy’s afterwards! Rosalie also has the most gorgeous LONG hair! I love it! Rosalie, thanks for putting up with me and going along with my silly directions.

Jenny and I were roommates this past year at UT and it was a blast living with her! We had a few adventures with some bugs…but we loved our apartment! Anyway, this girl is SUPER photogenic and I love how these photos came out!

The huge sunflower was a great prop!

Jenny and Cindy decided to do their portraits together (look for Jenny’s photos in the next post!) and I had a great time with these two! I have known Cindy since middle school and we have sooooo many memories together. She is one of my closest friends, so of course I was happy to do this for her! Cindy, I hope you like these!

Cindy & Jenny are both going to be grade school teachers in the fall!
