It’s by the grace of God that I get to have a job that I love and am successful at. Thankfully, I’m not the only one that is blessed by this wonderful gift! For the next few days I will be in Tennessee at For The Love Workshop with lots of other photographers! I am excited to learn and meet with others that share my passion for photography. I will try to update while I’m there! Try not to miss me too much.
I might be slow at responding to emails, but I will get back to everyone as soon as possible! Have a great week!

Last week I was at the Magnolia Hotel for their open house, and got to meet a lot of brides, grooms, and fellow wedding vendors! I also want to make a quick shout out to Kelly Balfour with Eventology Weddings. The weddings I’ve done here have been with her as the planner and coordinator, and she is amazing. If you are looking for a wedding planner, trust me…you will love her!
I was also asked to photograph the ballroom and club area because it was set up like it would be for weddings. It is definitely one of my favorite venues in Houston. Check it out!
This is the ballroom:

One of my favorite things about this room is the ceiling!

The flowers were done by Darryl & Co.

This cake is so perfect! All the credit goes to Cakes by Gina.

Here’s the club area on the 2nd floor:

I can definitely see a party getting started here!

The gorgeous details (I wish this was for a real wedding!).

Introducing…Abby Claire! At the time of this shoot she was only 8 days old…so precious, and so beautiful! Not surprising since her parents (Tracy & John) are so good looking.
I photographed their wedding last year in Austin and it has been so awesome to see them start a family. Tracy and I tried so hard to get Abby to fall asleep for a few shots, but I think she was just too excited to see me.
Thank heaven for little girls!

Tracy had the cutest headbands for Abby! Do you think she liked them?

Amy and Channone met at a wedding where Channone was the best man, and Amy was the maid of honor! Now it’s their turn to tie the knot, and I can’t wait for their wedding this September. They live in LA so I’m glad we got to squeeze in their session while they were in town! It was rainy all weekend but this particular afternoon warmed up and turned out to be a beautiful afternoon!

Amy can work it!
